What is Open Sound, Music & Research (OSMR) CIC?
OSMR CIC is a community interest company supporting creative research, music, performance, and cultural education.
We develop projects that explore sound as a social, artistic, and collaborative practice, bringing together musicians, researchers, artists, and local communities. Our work includes workshops, performances, recordings, public events, and experimental approaches to music-making across traditional and contemporary forms.
Based in the UK, OSMR aims to create accessible opportunities for participation, learning, and cultural exchange while supporting new ideas in sound and artistic practice. We believe music can build connection, encourage curiosity, and open new spaces for creativity, dialogue, and shared experience.
